Fool Me Once (2011) documents a myriad of fabric treatments and posits what historically, aesthetically, and conceptually significance do these processes and fabrics embody? Moreso, what happens when these elements are combined and layered? Beyond the aesthetic, viewers are meant to consider what they know of these seeming ubiquitous items and what new meanings can be derived from unexpected layering and pairings. Fool Me Once is a collaboration between Norah Matthews and Camal Pirbhai.
